Press Release of Helsinki Open Dance Festival 2010.
Heikki and Vieno Ketonen, Dance Club Dance World are organizing a major sport dancing event in Helsinki. Competition is held in Helsinki “Kisahalli” on 23.-24.10.2010. The event is expected to gather more than 1,000 dancers and dance fans from more than 18 countries. The competition is an International Sports IDSF World Ranking competition. European and world-wide finalists are expected to participate in Amateurs IDSF competitions in this dancing contest. The Festival is a unique opportunity to see and enjoy world-class dancers from all over the world on Helsinki dance floor. Competition highlights, namely the main events are: IDSF Amateur International Open Standard held on Saturday and IDSF Amateur International Open Latin held on Sunday. The competition venue can gather up to 1000 people in the hall at the same time: among them up to 160 people are able to follow this marvelous dancing competition sitting around the floor by table seats.
